He Chris, I have a backup file called "Juice Grinder Inventory Backup.vdb5" , and it's asking for a cvs file? When I rename it to cvs it doesn't work...

The backup file is different than the CVS file. The backup file is made automatically when you uninstall, the CVS you have to make yourself manually.

 

You can use the "Database Restore Utility" in your Juice Grinder program folder on the Start menu to copy the .vdb5 file back to where it needs to be.

 

To manually restore the file:

Make sure JG is closed, and then rename the "Juice Grinder Inventory Backup.vdb5" to "Inventory.vdb5".

Then, move that file to C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Juice Grinder

If you can't see the folder(s), you may have them hidden.

If it asks you if you want to overwrite the file, say yes.
Restart JG and you should see the Inventory items you had in the backup, if there were any.

hey Chris,

 

I've made a .cvs file to import all of my flavours but i keeg getting error messages that say

Index was outside the bounds of the array.

There is no row at position 4.

 

i created my cvs file in openoffice if that matters.

Then the file is not formatted correctly - the Help file has information on how it needs to be formatted correctly.

If you cannot get it figured out shoot it over to me via email.
